Wholesale trade in Kansas has moderately increased in the last ten years. Wholesale trade employment reached higher levels during the recession, which started in December 2007 and ended in June 2009, when it averaged 63,009 in 2008. In 2015, wholesale trade employment was 60,283. However, non-durable goods experienced a slight decline, 0.8 percent, between 2009 and 2011.
